Vtg 1958 7th US ARMY 1st Place Rifle Trophy Prize EUROPA Calendar Alarm Clock 7J

From a local estate, here is an oddball item, both as a clock and as a military collectable. This is an older Europa calendar alarm clock, German language. It was apparently used as a trophy or prize for 1st place rifle at the 7th US Army open in 1958.
Clock is a 7-jewel model with date and day at the top, plus month at the bottom, each controlled separately. The clock does NOT run, although all of the adjustments and settings work. The plastic window over the month is cracked. As you can see, there is plenty of age and patina, old dust and grime, and wear from use and storage.
