In the 1960's Popular Mechanics listed plans for a do it yourself garden tractor. You could make a homemade garden tractor for 5 compared to the manufactured tractors that cost hundreds of dollars. The plans were in the magazine to build it. Parts could be bought from your local junkyard for a few dollars of you could send away for the parts from a distributor. The Power Pup was to use Craftsman implements like the mower deck it comes with and the brackets. The tractor is made from parts you got locally like the Briggs and Stratton engine, don't know ir it works. A 1933 to a 1934 rear end, a 32 to 38 transmission, Lockheed master brake cylinder, 51 to 53 Studebaker steering components. A two stage slip reduction two stage clutch. Tractor seat and 38" tractor tire width. Now, it is a project tractor that does not run. Everything I mentioned is there. No hood. You make your own hood, instructions included. Local pickup only.
