This is a brand new canteen / gas mask coupling half quick disconnect. This is in the original military packaging as shown in the photos. These couplings are used to connect military gas masks and drinking systems.
It attaches to the end of the external drinking hose and connects to standard U.S. Military canteens. This is compatible with the following gas masks (and possibly others):
M40, M42, M45, MCU, MCU-2P, M17A1 A2, Millennium
