Description

Button Fly Khaki Trousers--1954 Pattern
Original US Army khaki trousers, 8.2 ounce khaki cotton uniform twill with button fly, five pockets [two front, two rear, and watch pocket at right front], and white cotton waist band and pocket lining. Size is washed out but waist measures 31 inches, inseam 31 inches. Mfg by SIDRAN SPORTSWEAR INC., pattern date 05 November 1954, contract date 23 November 1955. Numerous laundry numbers and markings stamped inside. Average wash fading with very light "fuzzing" to front pocket edges and a small match head-size snag to left buttock at pocket edge [neither of which affects overall appearance], but all buttons are intact and undamaged. Trousers still have original heavy GI starch. Note the 1946 dated penny which was found pressed inside the left front pocket and is included with the trousers. Nice example of classic vintage US military clothing and is in very good condition. Any questions please feel free to ask.
