Description

The Capital Growth Fund founded in the Bahamas in 1962,
offered for sale in Europe
Originally only
active as a fund of funds, over 200 million D-Marks were collected in this country. After the fund had become worthless, fund manager McAlpin secretly moved to Costa Rica in 1971 and founded an AG called Capital Growth Company S.A. in San José. The new business was Acquisition of participations and stock corporations, purchase and sale of land, mines, real estate, etc. Presumably, new shares were allotted for your shares with subscription rights and offered at "special conditions". The company withdrew from Europe and the former capital guarantee of the fund or the share by the Phoenix Assurance Company in London was void because Capital Growth stopped paying the contributions
Printed by Gebr. Fretz AG, Zurich
A special feature is the gold seal and above all the golden square sailors in gravure.
