    This U.S. Cold War Era twill garrison cap is in excellent condition. The green piping is undamaged. The outside of the cap is unsoiled and looks as good as new. The leather head band is in excellent condition. Smooth and supple except for the forehead area which shows some light wear.   "Philip Stoltz NG2795026" is written on the lining inside the sweat band. The sizing stamp is marked on the cap sweatband. The cap is 11” long. The original tag inside the cap is dated December 30, 1958. This is the same style cap that Elvis Presley can be seen wearing in photos from 1958 while in the army. Please look at the photos closely as they are part of the item description.
