This original awesome and beautifully hand-embroidered flying officer's ribbon + pin collection is an estate group which I acquired several years back. The ribbon is a pin back that appears to be unmarked as to maker (I did not try to separate the ribbon from the mount....
The best I can figure (which is probably close to exact) is that the original owner of this item was in the Women's Army Corps (WAC) during WWII and later was a member since its second year of the Women in the Military Tribute Foundation which represents and honors all women who have served in the military past, present and future....
This ribbon is absolutely original to the WWII period and is from a woman's very small estate collection of related military memorabilia.
