For Sale: Jacobsen 5111 Rotary Mower
Mower has an 11 foot cut and has retractable wings for transport. Mower has four cylinder diesel Kobota Engine, well-maintained. This mower has been garage-kept, and the person I purchased it from kept it indoors also. This is a very nice mower and has an excellent finish cut. It comes with two sets of blades, sharpened and ready for mowing. The mower has just under 3,800 hours. The mower has had over ,000.00 of maintenance work done over the last five years. This mower is equipped with a roll bar system and a nice hard-shell roof with working directionals. The turf tires are in good condition. The mower decks are still very solid with no rust holes in them. The 5111 has a few areas with small drips, which is to be expected with a machine of it's age. The four wheel drive has been disconnected. I do not use it. I was told it was a relay issue. The main brakes will need maintenance and adjustment, the mower moves slow the main braking system is very seldom used. I do use the emergency brake system and this works just fine. The unit drives and has plenty of power. This unit is fully hydro-static driven, and all mower decks are hydro-static driven. There has been a new seat installed.
I believe this unit was manufactured sometime around the early 2000's.
