Historically accurate copy of a Grimaldi harpsichord, by William Foster, Lucca, 1975. True inner instrument/outer case construction.
A high quality scratch-built instrument, not an amateur effort. Needs restoration but is complete. Several cracks in soundboard, cracks in capping veneer over wrest plank do not appear to affect plank proper. Some jacks bind in the guides, causing keys to stick. Jacks are wooden. Local pickup only, offers welcome.
