Godey's Ladies Book Fashion Plate "Godey's Fashions"

Description

Here is a Godey's Ladies Book Fashion plate. "Godey's Fashions".
It measures 11 3/4" across and 9 1/2" top to bottom without the border, just the page itself.
They were hand colored engravings that appeared in their magazines. The pictures provided information for seamstresses, dressmakers and home sewers as they were the latest fashion trends of the time.
This one has a natural crease in the center, as it came out of the book that way.
These plates are highly collectible, especially in this condition.
