    Face Respirator RPA-1 Reusable High Protection USSR Soviet Air Filter Rare New
    RPA-1 - the respirator consists of the same PR-7 half-mask, two plastic cartridges with replaceable aerosol filters, an exhalation valve with a safety clip, to the buckles of which a headgear is attached, and a knitted obturator. At the bottom of the body of each cartridge there is a branch pipe with a saddle for the inhalation valve, the flange of the branch pipe is used to attach the cartridge to the half mask. Air enters the respirator cartridge through louvers in the cover.
    The filters are made in the form of concentric folds of RFM filter material. The respirator can be used at various dust concentrations in the air and physical exertion, but it is most advisable to use it when the content of harmful substances in the atmosphere exceeds 500 mg / m3. Initial resistance to inhalation is not more than 29 Pa. Weight - 250 g.
    Regeneration of the R-2 (U-2K) respirator, filters of the F-62Sh and RPA-1 respirator cartridges is performed by shaking them off or blowing clean air in the direction opposite to the inhaled air flow, with the inhalation valves removed. If breathing becomes difficult after this, the respirator and filters should be replaced with new ones.
