Up for auction is yet another item from my now-dwindling Daimler Ferret / British Army collectibles.  This item you see is an  "OWL" STENCIL.  The owl insignia was used on Daimler Ferret armoured cars, for sure.  I have many photos of Ferrets with this insignia displayed.  I don't recall the unit it depicts although with a bit of research you can discover that for yourself.  I purchased this stencil from a gentleman, first name was Jack, don't remember his last name, but he was the owner of NATIONAL SUPPLY ARMOURED VEHICLES.  He has been out of business a long, long time, due to the damage done by Hurricane Katrina, if my memory serves me correctly.  I never met him, personally, but we talked quite a bit on the phone and I bought some stuff from him, including this stencil, among others.  This item is TRULY RARE since he's out of business, and has his label on the package.  It is brand-new, sealed, and I never used it, I was planning on using it to stencil my own Ferret but I never got around to it.  I paid .00 for it as you can see by the label, but I don't want to let it go for less than , which I think is more than reasonable, what do you think?
