BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF ART: THE SWORD(dagger) with portupee

Amazing piece of art!
It's marked from Colegio del Aire Mexico. - Colegio del Aire Mexican Air Force Academy-
Portupee end detached from cord.No maker marks on blade and  appears to be german quality.
It has as engraving on both sides.
The blade's length is 24 inches and the  width =7/8inch. H
It has winged torch like USAF insignia below medallion.
It Has acorns on finger guard ends.
Research shows 1959 the air college was formed 8/29/1959 in Zapopan Mexico and students were using North American Aviation T-6 Texan WWII mfg trainers. 55 T-28A Trojans model modified with guns and weapons delivery capability advanced(USAF) trainers were provided for close air support used by both Mexican Air Force and Armada.( Resources: Latin American Aviation by John Andrade)
