    Description

    This interesting button based on an early 18th century folk tale and appears to be brass with 6 faceted cut steel details. Image is of "Jack" running over foliage with a knife or dagger in his hand. The back of the button shows the same foliage which appears to have been embossed into the brass itself. All the details of this button are sharp and button shows little to no wear. It has it's original shank and a hook on one side that also appears original to the piece. Approx measures 1 3/4" across.
