1969 US Submarine Service 69th Birthday Commemorative Bronze Medallion US Navy

The US Navy Sub Force was born on April 11, 1900. Here’s a bronze medallion issued in 1969 to celebrate the 69th birthday of the Submarine Service. The medallion measures approximately 1 1/8th inches in diameter  and it’s in excellent used condition.  The medallion retains it vintage patina as it wasn’t polished or cleaned for this presentation. The silver tone key-chain attached doesn’t appear to be original to the medallion.
