    The pieces were recently purchased in New London, Connecticut from the estate of 2-star Rear Admiral Groebel who was the manager of the Navy football team. He went on to finish #26 in his class upon graduation. His career took him around the world highlighted by commanding Group #2 Submarine Fleet of the Atlantic Fleet.
