    Description:
Up for auction today is an incredible certificate of recognition, signed by Commander Samuel C. Burgers, in recognition of being one of the first to fly an operational turbine powered transport aircraft. The certificate, dated November 9, 1956, states that Mr. A.P. McCulloch was one of the first in the history of the Air Force to fly the specific model of plane. He was also endowed with membership in the Order of Heron of Alexandria. The official seal of the US Air Force Military Air Transport Service can be found in the bottom left corner. In the upper left corner, as you can see, it says -
    1700 Test Squadron (Turbo-Prop)
    1700 Air Transport Group (Medium)
    Continental Division
The outer dimensions of the framed piece are 19-1/2" wide x 17" high. And it is BEAUTIFUL!
This is the good stuff. Questions? Just ask. Thanks!
