    Written while waiting for his transport home after serving in Korea
    This item comes from the papers of Sgt. William Bandorick who served with the Lost Battalion (1st Battalion, 144th Infantry, 36th division) in France during WWII.
    Bandorick served for 30 years and was a highly decorated soldier during WWII and the Korean War
