    Description

    This is a 1950 period first design (colonial hat design) of the Vermont Army National Guard Headquarters color shoulder sleeve insignia/ patch. The second design SSI used from 1957 to 1976 was a "stag head" design.  In 1976 Vermont went back to the colonial hat design which are merrowed edge patches.
    It is fully embroidered on khaki material and does not glow under a black light.
